University Of Utah Data Use Agreement
After years of intermittent teaching at Salt Lake City Council House, the university was founded in 1867 under the direction of David O. Calder, followed by John R. Park in 1869. The university moved from council house in 1876 to the Union Academy building and in 1884 to Union Square. In 1892, the name of the University of Utah school was changed, and John R. Park began acquiring land belonging to the U.S. Army`s Fort Douglas on the eastern bench of the Salt Lake Valley, where the university permanently moved in 1900. Over the years, the university was allocated additional land from Fort Douglas and the fort was officially closed on October 26, 1991.  After his death in 1900, Dr. John R. Park bequeathed all his estate to the university.   The college walking group, known as Pride of Utah, performs at all home games as well as at some away games and bowl games.
They performed at the BCS Tostitos Fiesta Bowl in 2005, the BCS Allstate Sugar Bowl in 2009 and President Barack Obama`s opening parade. In the 2005 NFL Draft, Alex Smith was selected first by the San Francisco 49ers, the milwaukee Bucks` first in the 2005 NBA Draft.  The university has won 13 NCAA ski championships, the last in 2019, and the 1977 National Women`s Championship.  A Data Use Agreement (AEA) is a contract that sets out the conditions for the transmission of research data between the university and another institution or company. An AEA between a transmission entity and a receiving entity must be fully executed before sending or receiving data items. In March 2012, the university received unanimous approval from the Board of Directors for the creation of a new university, the School of Dentistry, which is the university`s first new university in sixty years.  The new school received funding for a new structure and was launched as a debt-free program.  The new school enrolled its first students for the fall 2013 semester and has on average the same cost as the university`s medical education.  She is a member of the Association of American Universities (AAU) and is classified under “R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity.”   According to the National Science Foundation, the University used $552 million in research and development in 2018, the nation`s 45th place.   22 Rhodes Scholars, four Nobel laureates, three Turing Prize laureates, eight MacArthurlow Fellow  2 6] several Pulitzer Prize winners, two astronauts Gates Cambridge Scholars, and Churchill Scholars have been with the university as students, researchers, or members of the faculty in its history.   In addition, the University`s College honors was audited from 100 major national honor colleges in the United States In 2015, the university helped open the Ensign College of Public Health in Kpong, Ghana.  In the fall of 2019, there were 24,485 students and 8,333 PhD students, for a total of 32,818 enrollments, making it the second largest public university in the state after Utah Valley University.
